How to Stop Buying Stuff You Don’t Really Need

Are you used to collect a lot of stuff at home?

Okay, let’s do a rundown of these stuff, clothes, shoes, bags, purses. Do you have a cabinet or two for those things? How about comic books, toys, cards and other boxed recreational stuff? How many rolling organizers do you have to preserve all those things.

That is why a lot of people wanted to have a bigger room, a bigger space in general. That is for them to ‘make room’ for their other (excess) stuff. This, of course will equate to bigger expense as you have to shell out some cash for renovations or move out just to have a more spacious area. Do you agree?

SM Bills Payment Big List of Merchants

I always make it a point to plan my trips, especially now that I am doing my best to get the most out of my time and shopping experience.

That includes paying my bills at the same venue where I go for some (needed) shopping. Last year (Dec 2009) I was surprised to see a flyer that the cashier stapled on the bill I handed to her when I paid my latest Meralco bill.

It was just an SM Flyer telling their customers about the list of merchants that they can accommodate on their Bill Pay Booth. I thought this will help you too, so here’s the list of merchants I got based on their Dec 2009 flyer. :)

What are your Financial New Year’s Resolutions?

See I’m that specific because based from experience, a lot of people are forming their New Year’s Resolutions based on other (material and physical) things. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Without a doubt, we are experiencing a slow down in the economy. Wherever you may be in the world, I am quite sure that you will agree with me. That’s because I bet you are also experiencing the effects of the recession in the United States.

Being the biggest economy in the world, it is just natural that the down U.S. economy will have repercussions on other markets. And here in the Philippines it can also be felt although some industries here are benefiting from it.
